HITECH Stimulus Services
The Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act (“HITECH”) provides up to $18 billion in incentives for physicians and other care providers who use Electronic Health Records (EHR) in a meaningful way by 2011. Physicians who demonstrate their “meaningful use” can earn up to $45,000 from Medicare and $75,000 from Medicaid. Hospitals can earn up to $2,000,000 plus additional discharge bonuses. CHS offers a variety of consulting services to help physicians and hospitals capitalize on the HITECH Stimulus to deploy EHR technology and other services throughout their network of owned and affiliated physician practices. Our combination of practice management, revenue cycle and clinical workflow experience has enabled our staff to rapidly deploy technologies to physician groups.

CHS Presents on Providing Excellent Customer Service in HIT Environment
CHS President Rob Culbert was engaged by one of our faculty practice clients to speak with their IT organization on the topic, Providing Excellent Customer Service in a Healthcare Information Technology Environment. The program focused on the role IT professionals play in the healthcare delivery system and how customer service translates to improving patient care, enhancing the patient experience and driving financial performance.
