HITECH Stimulus Services
The Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act (“HITECH”) provides up to $18 billion in incentives for physicians and other care providers who use Electronic Health Records (EHR) in a meaningful way by 2011. Physicians who demonstrate their “meaningful use” can earn up to $45,000 from Medicare and $75,000 from Medicaid. Hospitals can earn up to $2,000,000 plus additional discharge bonuses.

CHS Presents on Providing Excellent Customer Service in HIT Environment
CHS President Rob Culbert was engaged by one of our faculty practice clients to speak with their IT organization on the topic, Providing Excellent Customer Service in a Healthcare Information Technology Environment. The program focused on the role IT professionals play in the healthcare delivery system and how customer service translates to improving patient care, enhancing the patient experience and driving financial performance.
